Hello
This time I will talk about the process of adding a widget to any wiki site. This is a little bit different than any other module, because every application need an owner.
So this is what we want adding an application look like:
- every user will have "OpenSocial Applications" section in their My Account panel, which
- lists and shows every OpenSocial Application that is owned by the user
- allows to add a new application
- by entering OpenSocial widget URI
- by entering OpenSocial source code (in XML)
- by selecting a page from any wiki, which should contain a code block with the source of the application
- shows a Wiki code that needs to be inserted on any wiki page in order to display the widget
- displays a link to chosen OpenSocial applications and some info about them
The purpose of this site (http://opensocial.wikidot.com/) will change a bit as well. It will contain any valuable information on
- developing OpenSocial applications
- publishing YOUR OpenSocial applications with Wikidot, thus allowing them to be used on other OpenSocial networks like Ning.
- embedding OpenSocial applications on wiki pages
- additionally it will be a directory of nice OpenSocial Applications of our choice
